They stumbled over the line. Very unconvincing, though. Can't see them being the first host country to win a T20 World Cup (surprised when I heard that stat).

I didn't realise Phil Salt was a City fan...which is probably old news to a lot of people! Windies just about scraped through yesterday, going to be a long tournament and then you'd expect we get 7 of the 8 teams you'd expect fighting it out in the knockouts.

Cricket needs to boost its global status so can't argue with it too much.

Both WI based matches have produced lower than normal scores so far. Might be rubbish batting, or the wickets seem slow and harder to score on.

Might be prudent to let Scotland set a score tomorrow, rather than going fully gung ho and being all out for 70.
