Yes; they are. No arguments from me there. But if England tossed away the situation Pakistan were in, this thread would spontaneously combust. Ancoats would be surely blaming it on Root.India’s bowlers are good though.

How Root doesn’t play ahead of Livingstone is beyond me.Yes; they are. No arguments from me there. But if England tossed away the situation Pakistan were in, this thread would spontaneously combust. Ancoats would be surely blaming it on Root.

Livingstone still lives off hitting some 6s 3 years ago.
You can’t take the wicket out of the game plan. That’s Bazball and works some of the time, but will fail more than it succeeds.I think a lot of this England squad at the 20/20 World Cup is living off past glories.
The problem for me in this World Cup is the England setup and coaches just play to the conditions of the wickets. Buttler and Mott the head coach are making the game harder than it should be.
Take the wicket out of the game plan. forget if it's slow or fast, just go and smash the ball around and put the bowlers under pressure, The Aussies did that against us and look what they did, 200 should be a par score on these ground when opening the batting,
Scotland winning again today sort of sums up what I was saying, England could already be out, The weather could play a major part, But also the Aussies have to play Scotland in their last game, Also sort of things could go on ? England could lose again or draw with a washout meaning we would be out, Or The Aussies may rest players in that last game and roll over,
P.S
Joe Root is not to blame for this shower of shit

Yes, on a used pitch we should have batted first and then contained them on an even more used, tired pitch. So the Aussies in the power play vs England scored 70 odd and went on to score 201 and on the same wicket the England batsman like Bairstow was defending and Blocking, Even the pundits on Skysports were Laughing, The way I see it is, what have you got to lose, Smash the Bowlers all around the ground and get quick runs, You have 10 wickets, some will win, some will lose, What is the point of having 3 or 4 wickets left after 20 overs.
What the Aussies did was 2 things really, Yes they Scored quick runs. But they put England into Panic mode and Buttler made some shocking choices and the bowlers lost the plot.
20/20 is a batter's game, So why let the wicket and conditions stop you, In the first 6 overs in the power play you only have 2 men out of the inner circle, Just swing the bat, Buy a lotto ticket you never know, But you have to buy a ticket first if you are in with a chance of winning
