We became obsessed with playing Archer (completely under cooked) and Wood then opened with Ali and Jacks!

Just not sure if we have a plan and Buttler seems a bit of a 'yes' man.
Morgan was an outstanding captain who knew what he wanted.

I feel like it's a combination of Buttler not being anywhere near as good as Morgan (who was exceptional) and Mott coming in and having this balls out "play our way" approach.

Morgan would often go left field and get a spinner opening the bowling (before that became common) or even giving them the last over. It didn't always come off, but it would usually be Rashid who is a bowler! He wouldn't have gone into a WC game against Australia and with Moeen, Rashid, Wood, Archer, Jordan and Livingstone as options then throw the ball to Jacks! That was fucking mental. If you're under pressure deep into a game you can try that. Not in the 2nd over.

They keep chucking wickets away with slogs. If they keep their heads and bat sensibly, they should win this. 57 off 9 overs shouldn't really be beyond them, it's the "for four" bit that could be an issue.

It’s hard to score though. There’s no pace in the pitch and there’s uneven movement and bounce.

Definitely need nudgers and nurdlers more than big hitters on this deck.
