2025/26 NFL

Will be great to have him back but they had better not rush him back. He definitely is a monster in terms of recovery as he’s already back running and at training, but he won’t make too much of a difference! Flacco has been magnificent so far and has done 90% of the things Burrow could have done.

few others need punting to!
Yeah, he’s had a few games fall apart through his DC’s work now. Also, Schoen should have gone first. Daboll wanted Dart, Schoen didn’t. Daboll wanted Nabers, Schoen didn’t. Daboll’s talent identification makes Schoen look good. Schoen also let go of Barkley just to pay Daniel Jones (didn’t work out at NY). Daboll really shouldn’t have been the first to go.

I'm sure plenty more will leave in the coming weeks

Would love Daboll back at Buffalo as OC..... won't happen though

Just thinking - with Tennessee forecast the #1 pick at the moment, I can definitely see them trading back as they don’t need a QB. Maybe if a team has 2 first round picks, and one to be a top 10 pick, they might trade up. Who fits that criteria? The LA Rams! They have Atlanta’s first this year, which would like be top-10 along with their own. My prediction is they trade up and get Mendoza who can sit behind Stafford and eventually make the change, keeping stafford for a year or two to mentor him. That’s definitely what Mendoza would like anyways.
I reckon the #1 Pick will be decided in December with the Saints playing the Jets and the Titans back to back.

I read some stats that basically said that was the worst quality win in NFL history. A number of stats, including the fact that they had less than 150 yds of offense.

The Jets will need a new OC if they do not want to waste those accumulated first round picks.
Very probably, I watched the live at WHL as they and the Broncos stank the place out....but miracles can happen :)

Very excited for Rams vs Seahawks tonight - could be a classic. Definitely going to be a shootout, could even end up like Chiefs vs Rams in 2018!

Looks like Sanders finally got on for Cleveland as Gabriel gets evaluated for concussion. The talent is there, but there’s 100% a reason or two why he dropped to the 5th. Feel free to prove me wrong though.

Oh, who would’ve thought the 5th round pick mightn’t be great!
(As I type this, Lamar Jackson throws a deflected pick to give it back…)

Horrible night from the Lions offense and Goff. That being said, that pass interference call to effectively end the game when the lions would get the ball back with 2 minutes to go was scandalous.

It was a bad call but it probably reduced Detroit's chances of winning from about 1% to 0%.

And it already would have been 0% if it wasn't for the Eagles ridiculous decision to go for it on 4th down around midfield on their previous possession.

Yeah lions offensively were horrible so not blaming that call for the loss. As for going for it on 4th down, lions went for it 6 times and didn’t convert one. I love Dan Campbell but when it doesn’t go right he can look very exposed.

Yeah, some of the Lions choices on 4th down were debatable. But at least they had the reasoning that they were behind on the scoreboard for 55/60 minutes.

To go for it with a 10 point lead with about 2 minutes left and give Detroit the ball virtually in field goal range. is just unfathomable, to me at least.

The call was BS but at least it put the Lions out of their misery. It was an awful offensive performance.

As soon i saw Goff wearing gloves i knew they were in trouble and his throwing was out of sync from the beginning. That said the interior OLine is weak and night and day from last year and if he can't stand or step up in the pocket he's fucked!
The Lions defence played well and kept it close but their defensive line is brutal and were rattling Goff and they just couldn't sustain anything.

I agree about Dan Campbell and i don't like him calling plays.
I've got no problem with going for it on 4th down, but on short yardage plays why not use Montgomery more??...and when they needed points in the 4th qtr he punts for the first time, weird!!

Oh well, the Eagles are still the top team.

But there's a lot of the season still to go though, the Lions are still great, on their day...they just need to get healthier and regroup!

The Browns fanbase have been at each others throats for weeks. Mostly, because of the Gabriel-Sanders debate.

There has been a lot of conspiracy nonsense (eg NFL teams colluded not to draft Sanders to spite his dad and he fell in the draft due to racism). Sanders followers and plenty of bots have pushed this narrative for months on social media and in the last few weeks have moved on to the Browns coaches being so bad they cannot see he is better than Gabriel who has been starting ahead of him. Apparently, the Browns are racist (of all the fecking teams to call racist) and are sabotaging his career on purpose. Lunatics.

To see him come on and be objectively worse than Gabriel (who has been bad) was, as odd as it sounds as I am a Browns fan, I was relieved and smug about it. He may have some positives such as accuracy and he throws with more zip than Gabriel but he abandons the pocket after his first read is not open and drifts backwards leading to sacks many yards behind the line of scrimmage. He is miles off being an NFL QB.

To those who remember Bernie Kosar (Browns QB in 80s and 90s), this weekend he went in to hospital for a liver transplant. He has had numerous health issues down the years and it's sad to see him suffer so much as he was a great QB and is a good dude. Hoping he pulls through.

Meanwhile Da Bears are somehow Kings of the NFC North...don't think anyone had them as the dark horses at the beginning of the season.

Interesting to note Dan Campbell now taking over the offensive plays for the Lions does look like Ben Johnson really was a key cog in their machine & beginning to show his coaching attributes for Chicago.
