Never ever going to happen, but if Liverpool were to let him go on a free next summer, there'd be no shortage of interested parties. It's widely acknowledged that scoring is the hardest skill in football. And he has the knack, even if he is going to begin to slow down (33 now).

I thought Salah looked incredibly flat all afternoon and when he belted the penalty over the top he looked resigned rather than angry or upset.

Which is why we bought multiple players in both January and this summer, leading to a large squad that needs trimming!

Personally I never look too much into the Community Shield when it comes to performance or scoreline, We've been done a few times in the Community Shield yet still cruised the league.

I will stick by one thing that I've said, Salah is finished at the top level. I know he had a remarkable (6 months last season), He went missing for the last 4 months of the season as you could see the decline in his performances and losing that short burst of pace he had over a couple of yards. He looked like thar again today, He is playing like an old man.

Ekitike had a very good game, Again can't make to much of a fuss about it as Darwin Nunez also had a good performance against us a few seasons ago in the Community Shield and turned out to be completely shite.

Let's hope Van Dijk and Salah continue their decline next season. If the dippers get injuries to their back line they are in serious trouble as they have absolutely nothing on the bench.

I think you are right about Van Dijk and Salah. Both of them are in decline. Konate also looks dodgy. The centre of their defence looks vulnerable (so does ours to be fair). I think it is going to be a very competitive title battle this year.

Cant blame Henderson in an era where VAR is there.

He who dares Rodney…and he got away with it.

Fair play to Palace have no issues with the club barring they are a cartel following club

He was in decline last season certainly towards the end of the season but he’s done that before and come back refreshed hard to say of 90mins but will be interesting to see how he fairs, they have the get out option of selling him to Saudi and getting more cash into cash coffers
 
Will never ever tire of seeing the dippers lose and their fans were dreadful making for a thoroughly shit day out for their cult, hope all their flights home get cancelled too.

Just hope it doesnt give them a reality check and raise any concerns about their squad
