It’s weird how obsessed some people with what time complete strangers arrive and leave a match.
Considering how much they value watching every second of the game they don’t half spend a long time looking at other folk in the stands instead of what’s happening on the pitch.

I answered a post on a football forum, I have never said anything to the people who waste their money on a weekly basis.
Hard not to notice them walking past you in your row as they leave rather than looking for them leaving but yeah well played.

In recent times, I’m not ashamed to say (ok slightly ashamed) I walked out of that horrendous match against Spurs in Peps first season at about 70 mins.
Might have even said Pep out after a few pints in Mary Ds.
once left on 50 mins to go to a stag do in chester. It was the game we battered spurs, leroy sane grabboing a great goal. Had to listen to it in the car on the radio !
wish i had left early at the everton game trophy presentation, was awful, know next time. Great when we win the league at that particular game, but give the club a chance to draw out entertainment and it beats Eurovision song contest !
I was half out of the pub when we got our first in 99, it was a lesson learned :)Not having a go at you personally - just a general point that at every game there’s always a big group of people shouting abuse because other people choose to leave on the 80th minute etc.
I usually stay to the end but I don’t care if other people don’t.
And yep, if you’d gone home early and missed the comeback in 2012 or 1999 you’d feel mightily silly.
I go to rugby league with my dad sometimes - very similar situation when Salford came from behind to stay up and relegate Hull KR at the last second of the game a few years back. What a game that was, my old man went mental.
