Anyone making decision, or even contemplating analyzing his season from this game simply doesn’t understand football.

Lad was asked to play midfield and watch his full back, when we know he is a wide attacker or good call for a striker.

Young, bedding in, and, oh yeah, knows where the goal is!!!

He’s going nowhere and has done better this season than anyone could have imagined, given what Pep requires of his players.

I think you missed the quote from Pep after the Palace game that that had been the first time he saw Torres fit for the PL. This late in the season and against a very bad team. It’s not promising

Inconsistency isn't what we're saying here. Sane showed glimpses of genuine brilliance (Monaco for instance). Torres doesn't seem to have any outstanding qualities. As a winger, I honestly don't think he's good enough to play for a top side.

They weren't moments of brilliance. He showed he's a good/competent finisher. Sane showed terrifying potential at that age. There's no comparison.

I don't think it has. He hasn't shown any glimpses of being able to take a fullback on. If this was a kid from our EDS, we'd argue he should spend more time there or on loan.
