I love how pissed off and gutted he looks when he misses a chance, even if it's been a good effort and he's done all he can. Shows me he's determined to succeed.
Funnily enough, Sterling, who anyone who reads my posts will testify, I idolise and think he's the bees knees, makes me want to strangle him when he fucks up and has a big smile on his face!
Not that any of that means anything, just an observation.

Messy even ;-)Sane is an electric wide man on his day, however, temperament suspect and he certainly isn’t able to play centrally in a system like ours, this kid though, early days but what a pick from the recruiters, he could be sensational in a year or so...
Reminded me of Aguero's equalizer against Brighton when we clinched the title in 2019 - from other side of the goalThat goal was vintage Aguero. The first time pass and run, the first touch into his stride and then the finish between the legs of the keeper.
Absolutely knackered himself out about 20/25 mins in while chasing the ball. He was ruined for about ten minutes.
The reality is Sane can be anything he wants but lacks the fundamental traits of a top class star, desire... he may find it but that real, chips are down attitude, seems to allude him...
He has a huge talent, as we know, but becoming the best takes more than that. The work ethic and mental strength of someone like Ronaldo is what takes someone from a super talent to a super star.

Thankfully,it appears Torres mindset is far more Ronaldo than it is Sane.

Early days but he looks to be a more clinical finisher than we have and a very intelligent player judging by some of the bits and pieces he has done with Foden in particular.
At this stage it looks like three signings have come and hit the ground running which is rare for us.

Torres looks like he's fitting in well, we may have found another gem, attitude looks good he's only very young and has the footballing world at his feet.
He just needs to keep away from young rag players and keep his feet on the ground ;)
