Wouldn’t be mad if we started next season with gvardiol and Dias + him and Khusanov as back ups. Ake can be the LB backup. We are so stacked at CB for at least another year if not 2 since Stones has 1 yr left and will be replaced by Bah while Aké and Akanji have until 2027

Still a teenager, I am very hopeful that his time will come. I see him in the Stones role, as the centre back who brings the ball in to midfield and initiates attacks with creative passing though the press.

I think Pep has to get ruthless and let maybe 2 of our current backs go, especially now that Gvardiol seems to have tiesd down one of those CB positions

Probably best to try and move Stones and Ake on because neither can stay injury free.

Stones is the obvious choice but that does’t make room for Reis, only Akanji would really do that. Not sure Akanji wants to go anywhere.
