Something tells me that he has even higher potential than Khusanov. Clearly Khusanov is ahead as of today, but I think that’s largely down to their current physical attributes. But once Reis develops and grows into his frame, I think he basically becomes Stones 2.0. To have both is actually incredible.

I think it’s a prefect partnership in the making. Speed, aggression, guile and skill. Pair of them have these in spades between them already.

We might have our defence almost sorted if the same person who scouted Reis and Khusanov was the one who recommended Juma Bah too.

I suppose JSP is the best young defender in City's youth academy, where as Reis was the best young defender in South America, so you'd expect a stark difference!

I just don't see it with JSP, decent and composed on the ball but as soon as he has to defend he is all over the place.

Still young, still time but I would think he will be sent out on a season long loan.

I'm with you. I feel bad for him as he was basically thrown in the deep end due to injuries before he was really ready and it showed. McAtee has proved there's a way back from being loaned out so hopefully somewhere like the Championship will be good for him.

I know the club seem interested in keeping him but you have to wonder where he's at considering the log jam of midfielders ahead of him. Would be a shame to see him go, but you're right, Bundesliga would really benefit him in many ways.

Of all the young centre backs at City, and quite a few of them show great potential, I think Kaden Braithwaite & Stefan Mfuni have the best chance of making it into the first team. Mfuni especially.

That's fine.
There is a huge difference which was why I was wondering the comparison.
Reis looks a top player and cost us about £30m.
JSP is a lad who came through our academy and only got to play because we had no other alternative.
