Remember walking around like a pigeon at the final whistle.
My 2nd clash with the rags in our end, after them being in the bottom of the Kippax in 85

There were plenty of slaps going on in the lower Kippax for the cheeky twats who dared show up with colours on in there that day who stupidly made themselves known when it kicked off in the North Stand and they were being "escorted out" onto the pitch side.

The back of the Kippax was Interesting that day, amazed nobody lost an eye with the amount of coins that were being sent back and forth. Inflatable aeroplanes chucked into the rags section as well

If you listen carefully, Crimson Clive says, it’s the biggest ever victory in a Manchester derby for City at Maine Road..

As I said before, we have beaten them 6-1 twice at the swamp.

Think you’re completely missing the point here…

It’s just a classic line of commentary I’m quoting haha.

Despite that, ‘most comprehensive’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘biggest’ either. It can just mean you battered and outplayed them.

£2.3 million in a team that cost over £13 m. It doesn’t sound much by today’s standards, but it was a fucking hell of a lot of money 35 years ago.
I was playing at working out how to write programs on probably a Sinclair computer at the time....

Had the Close encounters sound bite playing with every time it looped another line appearing indefinitely, with a background for separate lines blue, white, red, black and Mels marvels 5
bacons wallet 1
popping up on them.

Sounds pretty sad now doing that at 26......wish I could now tho ;)
