Gonna get some stick for this but,
felt he looked abit nervous and confused by his positioning when he came on.
He’s going to be a beast when he understands the formations and what’s expected at city, but I can see it taking 9/10 games to get up to speed with it all.

A monster, this guy will be as good and vital as Haalands goals, lord help the opposition strikers.

And our entire defense surely must be the best in the world of football, and it's almost unfair... because in front of that defense we have Rodri.

If that's him nervous and confused, then we genuinely have a CB-equivalent of Haaland on our hands, which I think we do.

Liked his cameo. Looked very light on his feet and threatening going forward.

I'm still hoping that Laporte stays and Gvardiol plays further forward. He just seems to me to have the magic needed to be a top PL/CL CM like Rodri.

Also Laporte has the accurate long passing that Ederson has so if we're having that as a tactic this season. And he offers more cover for injuries.

Hopefully Gvardiol is a regular in the team though.

In a couple of minutes, he showed strength, touch and passing ability. Naturally, he needs to get used to a different way of playing, new teammates, and more complex positioning, but what a prospect he is.
