I like his style, I can't lie. When the chips were down he was up for difficult things, outclassing, outplaying, out thinking. Both teams screwed it up around their own box. The difference was City kept at it and got better, Everton eventually couldn't live with the pressure. Deep in the second half, Josko is right in that battle, very, very secure with the ball.
Sometimes our defence and Ederson look a class above the attackers. That's crazy. Josko is as good as it gets, in that way.
There's been a bit of an overall net deficiency in our recent teams for technique and creativity. Alvarez's touch and passing. General midfield staffing problems. Walker toning down the attacking a bit. It would flatter Cancelo from a couple of years ago. Or an outright pacy attacking LB with a cross.
Josko clearly isn't that. He's a skilled defender with very good feet and brain.
I'm convinced City are more likely to find another technically gifted pacy attacking RB to cope with Walker coming into his twilight. At that point, Josko could be the ideal player for the left.
Loads, and loads to come from this lad.
