I’m sure even he knows this. I know we’re short on options, but after the weekend he shouldn’t have played. He needs saving from himself right now, especially as a young player.

He is a good player, he made two mistakes today which led to the first two goals. He also made errors in the past which have directly led to goals, which means he needs more experience. He is still a good player, he carries a goal scoring threat and he will learn hopefully from this. He is overextended just like everyone else this season, I am not worried about him. Just give him time.

concentration errors and positional errors. but quite a few in each of last 4 games. Sporting that pen given away, Brighton game as well, Spurs game and now this game. he needs to improve his defensive side a lot. Pep needs to stop overplaying him, he has more minutes than Ake, Stones, Walker put together and he is always playing maximum minutes for Croatia as well thats 6 full games just since September.

Who cares? There are tons of people on this forum who support one player even when they play like shit. Just like there are plenty of people on this forum who don’t like certain players even when they do well! I’m pretty sure even vanchi would say he didn’t have a good night. No need to call her out.

Concentration.., A Great word. You talk sense. But I'm afraid joskco doesn't have much concentration . Could stop him becoming real top player. He's away with the fairys at times. Shocking tonight.

I'm not sure the first goal was as big of a fuck up from him as first seemed, the header from simpson-pusey was horrific, it's bounced right up and he's tried to cushion it back at an awkward height and ultimately got it very wrong. I'd be expecting him to do better for sure, not absolving him of blame but he was fucked over a bit by the poor header to him from the young lad.

He had an alright night before the mistakes, he's our most creative threat going forward at the minute which is a mental thing to say. He isn't in poor form he is just being punished every time there's an error.

Pep needs to simplify his role for a game or two, there's too much for him to do. let him just be a defensive fullback, get him through a few games without mistakes, concentrate on defending and helping to stop the avalanche of goals we concede every game.
