More confident in Akanji than Dias these days.He was nailed on MOTM until Nico bagged. Gvardiol and Dias could be a serious partnership.

Nah, Akanji has had a terrible season. Dias not great by any means but still better than Akanji. Both need to be better next season.More confident in Akanji than Dias these days.
Akanji had our pre-January window midfield in front of him, Rico at right back most of the time, his CB partners changing every game due to injuries, while playing through injury himself the whole time. I'm more inclined to give him a pass than Dias who's been poor by his standards for over a year.Nah, Akanji has had a terrible season. Dias not great by any means but still better than Akanji. I agree that it would be a good option to play a back three, and if we played two strikers it would mitigate the loss of De Bruyne in the middle.Absolutely top performance and my man of the match
Looks a rolls Royce at centre half
I agree that a three at the back could really suit us next season
In 17/18 before Mendy got injured we looked great allowed us to play two Strikers , which we could replicate with Haaland and Marmoush
Frimpong. My only concern from what I’ve seen (not much) is that he’s not that strong of a defender. He plays at wing back at leverkusen as far as I’m aware. It’s a no-brainer IMO.I agree that it would be a good option to play a back three, and if we played two strikers it would mitigate the loss of De Bruyne in the middle.
But who would you play at right wing back, assuming that we buy Cambiasso at Juventus and play him on the left? Would Nunes be good enough to do a job there?
I’m assuming the club and Pep are smart enough to recognise we need two full backs this summerI agree that it would be a good option to play a back three, and if we played two strikers it would mitigate the loss of De Bruyne in the middle.

Would like to see what he could do as defensive mid. Really talented footballer reminds me of Distin. Can we all agree he's a centre back now
Its almost like most of the players to play this system are already here:Ederson
Khusanov Dias Gvardiol
Frimpong Rodri Nico Cambiasso
Foden Haaland Marmoush
That’s a very balanced team imo
Players stock often seems to rise when they're not playingMore confident in Akanji than Dias these days.
