Anyone else sees him as future captain? Complete defender, wanted him at Madrid badly but Florentino will never spend that much on a centerback. I don't know if it’s just not enough financial power or transfer market strategy, but we are seeing the results of it this season.
After the Madrid games, some of the Madrid content was popping up for me in various social media. And he was the one City player Madrid fans wanted on their team and believed could start for them. He’s still so young. Closer in age to Nico O than Dias.

Ludicrously good. So composed, the perfect foil for Dias and, later, Khusanov.

I’ll be fucking heartbroken if we don’t see a defensive pairing of Gvardiol and Jonny Boulders at least once.

Rolls royce at times but few mistakes in there today. I thought he should cut the ball out to the forest player for the chance they had right at the start of the second half that they should have scored from. Happy on the whole and great header just want to see him iron those mistakes out

Just an appreciation post for josko, what a player he is and is going to be for years to come

Yep, he didn't quite sense the danger quickly enough, by the time he did it was too late as Elanga is lightening quick. Got away with the Gibbs White one also.

However, seen enough to know he is no left back. Him and Dias need to be the starting Centre Backs next year!! The improvement since they have been paired together is significant!!

It shows the sorry state of our affairs that he's already played 4,064 minutes this season when we have so many defenders in the squad. If he plays the remaining 5 games (450 minutes), which looks likely, and we add the 8 internationals he has played in (745 minutes), then he'll smash through the 5,000 minutes for the season. That's a ridiculous amount of football and unsustainable. If he features in the summer, then we haven't learned anything.

He's a good player but still not great in my opinion. He seems to have a glaring error in him every game and we were fortunate not to get punished. He also did an awful job at tracking Elanga's run when he nearly equalised early on in the second half. Seemed to try to play him offside and then watch him get a jump on him rather than attacking the box to get there first and clear the danger.

He's got so many good qualities, is excellent on the ball and clearly an attacking threat too. Just needs to iron out those defensive lapses and he'll be one of the best in Europe. At 23 he's some player.

There is no perfect player. Just wanna remind some people here who expect a CB to be perfect. Another clean sheet. Makes me wonder why
