I agree ,he was isolated until Gundogan came on.I don't think he benefits from being the midfielder with the most responsibility to keep things ticking. His strengths lie elsewhere.
Once Gundogan came on he really started to grow and his ball for the goal was superb.
He was tackling and intercepting everything in the last fifteen minutes. Loved his desire when he got in front (with a bit of an arm across the face which missed!) of their lad who brought him down and got booked.Not enough praise in here today......he was brilliant,especially when most needed towards the end.
