25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

The difference is that the defense looks a lot more organized and structured with him regardless of the few saves.

When we signed him I felt sorry for Trafford.
I wanted it to work for the lad.
But you then realise we had a chance to sign a genuinely world class keeper for a low fee.
World class player..Eddie was amazing.
This guy is totally different.
But some saves are in real.
His presents gives the defence confidence.
Eddie fitted us to play peps style at that time.
This is a new city.
We used to have world class players.
Vinny.
El mago.
Yaya.
Sergio.

Last year or so not so many.
Now .
New city .
This guy.
The big lad up front.
Rodri.
Doku could be.
And daft as it sounds the two make shift fullbacks.
They are brilliant.
But a lot is down to this lad.
THis new city .
The latest pep master piece is going to do something special.
This lad is the base of it

Are you George Starbuck?

We've played some tough opponents already - Arse Brighton, Villa away and Spurs at home - all games where we've struggled of late, but The Don's got 5 clean sheets out of 11. The naysayers must be disappointed.

Pity we didn't keep Burnley out, but it's good for a keeper in a rebuilt team and who's new to the league himself, and he's on target for a possible golden glove as we aren't even a 3rd of the way through the season. Arsenal's arses will be twitching in the coming weeks, so hopefully Raya will throw a few in his own net, allowing The Don to reap the Golden Glove at the season's end - alongside his Premier League winner's medal.

I still find it wild that we seemingly had a free run at him. Yeah. He might have fancied us but if United or Chelsea in particular put the money up early it would have material changed their prospects

Chelsea have spent a load of money on fanny wingers - if they would have put the money down on Donna and Alverez and to a lesser extent Marmoush, we would be looking at them very differently

But the reality is, they have Sanchez in net, bang average and/or injured centre backs and unproven centre forwards

But back to Donna. I love him. He’s got *it* on top of being an. Excellent keeper

Donnarumma didnt play against spurs or Brighton, and the other two mentioned we didnt keep a clean sheet. Clean sheets are attributed to keepers individually, we've kept 5 clean sheets in total, Donnarumma has 4 with Trafford the other. Raya is already on 7 clean sheets, he is some way off golden glove target already and its more likely to widen than close. Arsenal would have to fall to pieces for it to be a possibility.

According to reports the rags and Chelsea did talk to his agent but got knocked back, then the rags said they weren't interested despite camel gob and nevgob "demanding" that they sign him

If only he was as willing to come out for crosses as he is when he has something to complain to the ref about. Needs to be fined for these yellow cards in the hope he thinks twice about it. Isn't that 4 now? 1 more and he'll have a ban. That is almost unheard of for a keeper to be picking up a suspension for accumulation of yellow cards.
