Well Ake trained yesterday and presumably today too.

Pep felt the pain of having to play Fernandinho for too many minutes at RB and CB during the final stretch last season, it almost cost us the title. This season will be even more demanding on the players too.

Looks like an option as a full-back but probably only in an emergency.

Stones has played 55 games at right-back in his domestic career, so it would have to be one heck of an emergency for us to use Akanji there.
