Absolutely brilliant again. His passing is fast and attacking and he has the pace to deal with situations well. He looked brilliant with Ake as well, they coped with a lot of good counter attacking play from Dortmund and couldn't do too much about their goal.
 
Other than two moments, he looked pretty good.

He got made to look a right Charlie when he slid in and Reus came back inside with the ball and nearly scored. Daft sliding in like that, even if Reus hadn’t turned as he did, that’s a recipe for giving a penalty away that sort of slide.

Also, seems like he could have headed their goal away for a corner by just leaning towards the ball but he just stood still and let it go past him.

But he was alright other than that. Seems quite good on the ball, seems to have a bit of pace.
 
Would love to have seen him attempt to "break the lines" with his passing ability, like Laporte does for us.

Even Akers had a few ranging pass efforts last night.
