I like what I have seen so far too although it’s still early days and United’s forwards were dross today. Very good game though.

You have said what I wanted to say. It is like watching Kompany. It’s uncanny infact. What a signing!So satisfying seeing a strong, fast defender. Like watching Kompany from a few years back.
Outpacing Rashford and then bullying him (Rashford isn’t weak or slow!). Beautiful!

United’s forwards were dross today.
The thing is, they've been dross for years but they have a habit of doing us on the counter because our defence isn't fast enough. His pace alongside Ake who's just as quick, Walker and cancelo who is no slouch either negated the one attribute their entire forward line relied on and made them look like the bang average footballers they are.

I'm still not convinced just yet
100% agree but he’s got elements of his game very similar to VK.I like what I have seen so far too although it’s still early days and United’s forwards were dross today. Very good game though.

He’s the centre half we’ve been crying out for.
Very good on the ball - his pass to Walker in the first half was a peach - but his pace and power leaves us much less exposed on the break, which is especially important this season given we’re playing with one less midfielder.
Him and Haaland have made us much better in both boxes.

Whoever spotted him deserves a raise, he looks like he's been playing with city for years and i enjoy how comfortable and good he's on the ball
