Obviously Foden and Rodri have been our two best players with difference this season. But if I would have to choose a 3rd, it would be Akanji. Can play anywhere, very good passing, almost never injured, super quick, smart. He was an absolute steal.

He’s one of the best examples of good scouting/profiling in recent memory. A bit-part player at Dortmund, signed with no fuss, a low fee, nobody else wanting him, then becomes a key player for us, playing pretty much every game he’s fit for.
