He was part of the 4 in a row team you fucking numb twat.

Just fucking hold your hand up against counter arguments you clown

Are you well? Seems not.

Being an integral part and being part of the squad are two different things.

Grealish was a regular starter in the Treble season and thus an integral part of our success then. Unlike Grealish, Akanji was an integral part of our success in the last 2 seasons, not just the Treble season.

You seem unable to grasp basic things. Take care of yourself.

Absolutely not, I have never once said that! Your reply makes absolutely zero sense?

Do you seriously believe Akanji should be playing at the minute? Can you not see him bearly breaking into a jog after a mistake to get back into position?
Do I think he's the best available, yes. Does Pep, he must. So unless he picks teams based on his favourites which would be stupid and you don't acheive what Peps done by being stupid, there's your answer.

Akanji was excellent with Switzerland.

I had forgotten about Walker, but there had to be at least one English player in the team of the tournament for obvious reasons. That Walker was chosen tells more about the performances of his team-mates than about those of Akanji or Rodri.

The biggest accolade for Akanji is that Pep appreciates him, certainly more than some of our fans.

Like a lot of players there are reasons for his performances. I don't believe for a minute he's fully fit. Jogging back into position when they were on the counter was a clear sign he's struggling. He tried to put his foot down at the end but it didn't make much difference. He's not the sort of player to lazily trot about the pitch unless he couldn't physically do more. The reason we've bought two young defenders is because Pep knows Ake, Dias, Stones and Akanji are top quality players but need support if we're to get the best out of them.

If we're able to I'm sure Pep would look to rest Akanji as much as possible with a view to him being the RB in our CL playoff.

Oh I'm well ok, the biggest problem I have created for myself is interacting with you

Maybe, just maybe the likes of Akanji and Walker are the reason we’re in the position we’re in.

I agree injuries have contributed, there’s no denying that. Does that make it acceptable for Akanji to jog back into position? No. Does that make it acceptable for Akanji to win something silly like 40% of balls in the air? No.

If he was this poor but showed some fight or was breaking his neck to atone for his mistakes, people wouldn’t be as pissed off as they are with him.

Take the like of Gvardiol. When he went through a bad patch people were more lenient towards him because they could see the effort. With Akanji it’s the total opposite.

If you think for a moment that Pep tolerates any player not running ,not trying then you know nothing at all about Pep Guardiola.

Nonsense.
So when Brugge first broke midweek Akanji wasn’t ambling back? When he played a shit ball to Kovacic and play got turn over he wasn’t ambling back?

Have a look at this one against Feynoord as well on the final goal. Ambling back whilst Pusey and Rico are breaking their necks.

Poor, always had mistakes in him, looks good against poor sides, but usually exposed against better opponents. Especially this season. He was supposed to be our backup, not some undisputed starter. One of Pep's blind spots this season.

Can't play in a CB partnership since he gets exposed for his lack of pace and aggression. Needs to play as the defender who pushes into midfield or playing RCB in a back 3.
