25th Anniversary Plans for York (A)

I was at the City game in Caernafon to celebrate the investiture of Charles as the Prince of Wales.

Now he is the King I think we should have a pilgrimage back there.

Wrexham away on Boxing Day was our real low point but that's a shithole so yeh, I'm in.

Lincoln away still sends shivers down my spine! To rub salt into the wound ,my mate who lives in Lincoln (not a blue) said he enjoyed the game... We certainly bloody didn't did we!!

What about booking the Arena? Though, obviously, it's nowhere near big enough to accommodate the quarter of a million who were actually at the game. Alternately, an open air get together in Heaton Pk, though the weather at that time of year could be a challenge.

Ah but, the point is after we had trekked home from York, miserable, hung over and with the knowledge we were in our lowest league position ever....... we had to do it all again on Boxing Day. Forget the Christmas party, the family coming round the re run of Morcambe and Wise Christmas Special, we were off to Wrexfuckinham. My 2 mates refused to go, I took my 2 lads and their mate.........



And in truth when I posted that I thought we'd lost :-)

York away is absolute bollox considering we had no more than 4k there. Where were you at home v Brighton when we only drew 16.5k hardcore? And if you weren't there and don't know look it up. I was there!
