A lot of members on here are now throwing him under the bus. Why is he singled out ? knowing that he had an excellent first half and gave Keven, Kun and Raheem lovely passes that could/ should have changed the fate of the game. Keven was atrocious today and so were Raheem and Kun and stats speak for themselves. Denying his contribution this season and his top notch performance because of one poor corner is just ridiculous, over the top and out of line.

This. I thought he had a pretty good game and laid on some lovely passes for his teammates. Kinda of shocked reading some of the opinions here.

Didn't think he was that bad today, especially in the first half. He needs to learn to release the ball earlier or attack the man more directly, but he's looked threatening and has a hell of a touch.

Agreed, where the hell was KDB today? Players of the year my arse, not doing enough consistently for me.

People like myself set their stall out early with Mahrez and, although they might pretend to be behind him once he hits form, they will be the first to turn on him when the team struggles and he isn't smashing in goals.

I thought he was decent enough yesterday with the exception of a shit corner and a couple of crap crosses. Hardly unforgivable sins.

The corner was pretty unforgivable.

We are never more exposed at the back than at corners, and that's one of the reasons we park so many players around the box to make sure it doesn't come out quickly.

Mahrez managed to pass it not just to the opposition, but to the one opposition player in tons of space ready to lead a counterattack.

And it's not like it was intercepted on the way to a City player in a dangerous position either, he just passed it straight to Winks.

I agree on the most part but it looked like something they'd practised in training and he simply didn't hit the pass hard enough. I'll let him off, as shite as it was.
