He’s very much a confidence player. Seems a great person when interviewed. Hope he gets a good run of games.

He was a joy to watch. I wish we’d train to do more of his delicate pass to sterling in the box. Playing it into space inside the box is difficult but I’m convinced it’s one of the few areas of possible improvement for us. And it will result in a few higher % chances taken from more central positions each match.

Definitely been one of our best players so far this season. Fans were far too reactionary last season. He didn't get a solid run of games last season plus playing under Guardiola is obviously a completely different prospect than playing for Leicester. He was always going to come good, he has far too much technical ability not to come good.

I prefer him to Bernardo as a winger. What he's been missing is the physicality and work-rate, however today he showed that in spades, was running around chasing players back all over the place. If we can drill that mindset into him then for me he's one of the first names on the team sheet.

I think he arguably has the best first touch in the entire squad, which is some compliment.

Really coming into his own now. Great to see after a difficult first season. Just goes to show what a bit of patience and run of games can do for a player’s confidence.
Its a toss up with Bernardo for me

Rewatched the match today and while he was the best outfield player on the pitch I still think he's got some room to improve, still quite a few moments when he shoots when he should pass, and quite a few times he just doesn't make a run other players are expecting or doesn't attack the back post and he could pick up a lot of goals that way.

His partnership with KDB is great. Delph was trying to stick to KDB all game, but the two of them worked together really well to get Mahrez past Digne and force Delph to abandon KDB to cover.

Na, Bernardo's is immaculate.

I'm loving how he's stepped up and becoming a key player, especially when other more established squad members are off the boil. I think both the goal on the final day and his exploits with Algeria have been a huge boost for his confidence, as well as getting game time to understand what Kev wants from him, which last season they weren't on the same page and Kev was pissed off and stopped passing to him but now they're in tune with each other, Mahrez is feeding Kev in the right areas and even taking the mantle and coming up with chances and passes that are even surprising his team-mates because he's finally settled enough to bring it out of his locker.

Keep it up Riyad.
