I just don't think he ads anything to our team, if anything he makes us negative. He's a great talent but just not the right fit for us.

Think wages would be big problem unfortunately. Apparently hes on around £200k a week here. No one is going to pay that. Only the likes of PSG, Real, Barca, Bayern, Juventus can pay that sort of cash, but they already have better options.

My guess is that he would rather stay here as squad player on current wages than take step down + paycut.

I put a comment in the Sterling thread but it's just as relevant here:
"Three players who are playing below their potential, Stones, Sterling and Mahrez all seem to have relationship issues ATM or in the recent past, that are likely proving a mental distraction. Hopefully with the right support this situation will improve soon?"

In Mahrez's case he has certainly seemed the innocent party. As fans it's frustrating when players are performing below par, but sometimes player's need support to help them through difficult times.
