Good performance vs Leicester, but that should actually be his standard level.
Very activ 1st half, Chilwell must still be dizzy.

He also had some great lay-offs which haven't been converted.
His finish wasn't even great, he can do much better.
Looked much more confident and sharp, more of that please!

And what do you think now after his stunning performance last night ? Man of the match based on stats and judgement of many specialized platforms and experts who arguably know more about football than lay fans like you and me. By the way, he has been singled out as man of the match on at least four occasions this season despite his seldom cameos.

The thing that masks his performance is he wont track back or wont put his foot in, misplace easy passes or not layoff, take impossible shots on when other players are in a scoring position, then come up with a blinding goal or assist and all is forgotten. Thing is 2 goals have gone in the other end from a counter attack from a blocked shot/missed place pass/bottled a tackle/not tracked back and we lose or draw the game. Then people talk about the outstanding goal or assist and how world class he is. The thing is with peps team is we dont want individuals, we need team players. Individual brilliance is great as long as they do the simple things right 1st. Hopefully this is the spark he needed and pep can now trust him. If he consistently worked like he did yesterday he would get a run in team but he hasn't done it 3 games in a row.
