Stuck out on the right though he looks far more ineffective, none of that excuses his poor finishing in the first half that he should have scored, but Pep changes the way we play too often, so inconsistency seems to come about.

Just how many performances like today does he have to put in for Pep to call time on his City career. A total passenger who doesn’t suit our style of play, has a complete lack of effort or desire and is lucky to have 1 ok game in 10. Be lucky to get half the money back we paid for him.

Apart from his hattrick, he’s been shit all season. Selfish, lazy and shit finishing. There is not a single thing that Mahrez does that Palmer can’t do. I would sell him as soon as possible

I’ve been very critical of Mahrez this season but he seems to have adapted his game in the last few matches. Got himself in the starting xi today - big test for him.

His performance today was truly awful, disappeared in a big game yet again. I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt by thinking he's finally through a patch of poor form after an encouraging pair of games. Summed up when he was telling Walker to pass back to our keeper from 10 metres inside the Utd half with only Shaw for him to take on. The team looked so much more balanced when Torres came on, who did more in his first ten minutes than FFS did in 65.

To be fair Raheem was equally poor today - I don't know why we've gone from having two of the most feared wide men in football to a pair, who today in particular, looked frightened to do anything. Sadly I am back to believing we will never amount to much whilst he's a first choice. It's also not good seeing his teammates throwing hands in the air when he doesn't release the ball quickly. I really hope Ferran and Phil get some meaningful minutes in the PL otherwise we will be out of the race by January.

im wondering if he can only play when we have cancelo offering another threat. Walker was clearly told to stay back today so mahrez was isolated and he’s fucking shit when that happens. He can’t beat a man and offer zero threat.
pep has to realize he can’t play against the top sides, games where we need to be solid And take our chances. He needs some one to make space for him.
