Just so - if a bit understated. I thought he was very good.

Not sure if his "assist" to Torres was actually an assist though - looks as if the defender may have had the "own assist." Hard to tell for sure.

Mahrez has proved he can do it against the lesser lights of football , now lets have a top class performance against our closest rivals and top six teams , starting today , scoring a hat trick against Burnley is great , scoring three against the better teams is what is expected from a £65m player with a sublime first touch and an eye for goal.

I’ve been very critical of Mahrez this season but he seems to have adapted his game in the last few matches. Got himself in the starting xi today - big test for him.
Has he turned the corner?
