Don’t be critical or his designated attorneys and fanboys will show up to lecture you. Him gone is the correct first step for the rebuild. He was not the only bad one yesterday, but his performance and discipline in general are more bad than good. Some key players are growing frustrated playing with him, and he is blocking younger players who have potential and more passion than him even when they play for a few minutes. Just get rid as soon as possible. As many said, he doesn’t fit the team. But, unlike some who keep saying he is an outstanding player, I disagree. He is 29 and had only one good season in his entire career. This can never translate into being outstanding. Getting him was a big mistake, and insisting on keeping him makes it worse. At least we quickly got rid of Bony. Of course, next game he will score a goal, make an assist or flick the ball with his heel, thigh or chest, and the worshipers will start the praising campaign again.
