You need to do some homework before trying to state things as facts.

I agree Mahrez hasn't been a huge success for us overall and I would suggest that is more because of fit than ability.

However. Has never delivered in big games. I guess you are sweeping under the carpet the away winner at Spurs when we went on to win the league, by how many points?

Wrong thread for Sterling, but if you feel he has done it against the big teams, Rags and Dippers should give you some research.

Yes, I think we should move him on, but to say he has done nothing is bollocks

And you need to get a life if someone's opinion on an internet forum about a player on 200k per week gets you so riled up.

He did score the winner at Spurs, fair play to him. Nice of him to do that as our at the time record signing in a side that was as well oiled a machine as you could ever get. You're also conveniently not acknowledging that that season was won in the run-in in which he was a bit-part player at the very best. Last season and this, when he's been relied upon most, he's scored one goal against top six opposition. The proof is in the pudding.

And it's not bollocks to say our £60m signing has done nothing because not only does he not influence the biggest games, he hasn't endeared himself to supporters one bit, doesn't work hard enough and is greedy despite scoring and assisting fuck all for someone starting regularly at a top club.

Stop trying to deflect. You said he has never done anything ever and I gave you an example which you still through gritted teeth are struggling to accept

Not deflecting anything. He's done nothing for us and been a disaster of a signing. Simple.
You are deflecting. You said he has NEVER done anything in a big game. You posted your opinion as being fact when it simply wasn't.

Hardly a disaster of a signing when you think what would have happened had we not scored at Spurs.

As I said, a great technical player not best suited to us

I stand by my opinion - a concept you seem to struggle with - that he has never performed on the big occasion for us.

Anyway. He’s not starting tonight - praying he gets moved on in January.
Unfair to compare him with Sterling, Jesus and Bernardo as none of those three have ever been accused of lacking effort or bottle in the way that Mahrez constantly is.

He didn't play, and though it seems like MC is struggling even against weak teams. and it seems like his goals were not that easy after all.
After poor games, ones tend to judge the players on who ran more or less than the others, but modern football is based more on smart players and coaches than runners. MC is an average team today cause except Debruyne and Mahrez, the others are technically average...even if they run a lot.
In the meantime, Pep is performing as an actor and listenning to plebs or even reading this forum :D to prepare the next game list.

Love him or loathe him he is usually Good for a goal or an assist in those kind of games. Personally thought we missed his directness last night would start him over sterling at the moment for sure.
