Think he has a much better understanding with Bernardo than De Bruyne. De Bruyne's biggest move is the run between centre back and full back looking for the through ball from Mahrez which has worked well on occasion, but last season was completely figured out. Teams had players waiting for it, De Bruyne runs into a crowd leaving a big hole and Mahrez nobody to pass to so he has to go backwards. Bernardo moves around more and isn't so eager to deliver a ball into the box at every opportunity. Would be interesting to see Bernardo-Mahrez given a run with Cancelo behind them but probably won't happen with De Bruyne back.
