his level of opponent, doesn't make up for Sunday. Typical FFS.
Mahrez and Zinchenko were the best players on Sunday. I presume you are being facetious.his level of opponent, doesn't make up for Sunday. Typical FFS.
That's a good post. I've said a similar thing after numerous games where he's been on the end of a barrage of abuse for having a shit game when he's actually played reasonably well it's just things haven't come off for him. If his first tonight goes wide he gets absolutely slaughtered for not playing it in to kdb on the overlap, it goes in and he's MOtM.I always think with the Mahrez plays, it’s a fine line between him being lauded or abused. Take his 2 goals tonight.
The 1st he has runners off him but goes alone. If the shot is blocked or goes wide/over it’s “FSS Mahrez, you greedy twat” but it flys in the corner and it’s “wow, what a goal”.
The 2nd, he seems to hold on for an eternity, and it half looked like the chance had gone. Then he pulls out a ridiculous finish.
I think most games his overall performance levels are pretty similar, and how we perceive him depends on these 2 or 3 big moments in games. When it goes for him like tonight, it looks like we have a real player on our hands. When the moments don’t go his way, he looks selfish and not a team-player. For the 1st few months of the season, more certainly went against than for him. The last month or so, the moments have been going his way. Long may it continue.

the only agenda is yours, fuck me what a disingenuous post to claim that when he did fuck all but score a hat-trick v Burnley for 3 months.Doesn't make up for Sunday? He was arguably our best player that game and I'm pretty sure everything he has contributed to us this season will have made up for it. We're in a much tighter title race without Riyad Mahrez, he's probably won us the most points single handedly this season of all our offensive players; if you're still pushing this tired narrative it's just a plain agenda.

hyperbole at its finest.A worldie goal in the 70th minute against Everton to give us the lead, a brilliant assist in the only goal of the game vs Arsenal, another brilliant assist for the winning goal vs WHU, a brilliant pre-assist vs Wolves to get us back in the lead then a great strike to clinch the game for us, now stepped up again and scored a brace in a tough game for Southampton. All that happened in the space of a month.
To even have the audacity to claim he 'hasn't made up for the Derby defeat' (a game where he was the best attacker on the pitch for us) is just an agenda. I can articulate the value and importance Mahrez has played as can most blues, you cannot to the contrary. You have no argument, you have an boring agenda with nothing substantive to say on the matter.

Squad player for mid-table opposition and being the "best attacker" on Sunday was like having the best cell in prison, he was still shit.
