IIRC we were also looking at Wilfried Zaha when we signed Mahrez.

Mahrez is more skillful but i think Zaha would have made a far more useful contribution to the cause. Pep's Barcelona had some fairly limited players such as Pepe who made the system work through 100% effort

Probably but Zaha would have been more expensive I think. Financial decision and Mahrez was more proven so board went for him.

I think he just does what the fuck he wants tbh. I tell you what, I’d rather KDB give Mahrez the bollocking he gave Foden. Dish it out evenly if that’s the case.

Was someone who was supposed to bring a new vector of attack and experience,make our attacking play more unpredictable.Hasn't lived up to expectations.Still a good player who can make better impact individually in a different team.
Considering that he is nearly 30 and doesn't look like someone who has off field dressing room leadership role, it would be better to sell him next summer and free up NHG spot and get a talented hg young player like Jadon sancho.

Harrison is guaranteed starter at leeds why would he want leave and sit on the city bench, especially when the club didn't think he is quality enough which is why he didn't even get on the pitch with a city shirt and sent on loan straight away.

Also didn't we have a sell on clause on sacho?
