I'm not certain we can upgrade, but we definitely can elongate... Meaning, younger and perhaps almost as good.

Mahrez talent is mercurial, but a slightly less talented winger with more hustle and more speed would not necessarily be worse...



All that said, I love the current Mahrez, and I don't want h going anywhere for now.


He just finally bought into actually doing the required work on the press (rather than that annoying fake pretend-press crap he did for 2 plus years). And he is finally getting comfortable with not being the only star, which makes him play better. So I'm quite pleased with the present Mahrez.


But the operative phrase in the first paragraph was 'for now' It's how I feel about all none CBs who are over 30 and anyone over 34. :)
