That's fine if there is no better option,or a player is in better space,but with Mahrez that usually isn't the case.

I don't think it happened against Arsenal much but there are already examples this season of him not passing to the likes of Foden when he's clean through on goal. Those are the infuriating moments where you'd expect the player to put aside personal glory or be annoyed at themselves for not spotting the pass. Those thoughts don't seem to occur to him though.

Salah is like this, taking the shot when passing would be the better option, but his results speak for themselves. It just isn't the case with Mahrez and it baffles me tbfh, i think technically (speed aside) he has the ability to do everything Salah does and is arguably better than Salah with his right foot. He just doesn't deliver like he used to for Leicester.

Yep, fair points. I do think Mahrez has improved in those aspects as well, but we need much more.

I have to admit, I am not a fan. I can't help but feel that we are missing some out and out speed on the wing and he just has none. I understand that when he comes a bit more central he is very creative and able to pick a pass or hit a shot. I am hoping Torres can get up to speed and make one of those wide slots his own with Sterling either moving over or Torres just playing on the right.

Probably the most frustrating player right now. Has class but is so greedy and is the weakest player i've seen. Jesus, Willo Flood would snap him.

Since center back problem has been solved after Ake and Diaz, two our weakest positions are:

1) Mendy mendy and once again mendy

2) Sterling / Mahrez wings. It reminds me 2016/2017 - Nolito / Navas, Nolito / Sterling, Sterling / Navas situation, until Sane was introduced more frequently.

Our attack was at its best with Sane and Raheem
They had the ability and freedom to move forward on the wings instead of cutting inside
We need to get Raheem back to the RW, and find a left-footed LW (Foden/Mahrez)
