If it takes messi coming in then Pep isn't competent enough to manage us anymore

He clearly fucking is though, isn't he? Let's try not to act like spoiled teenage brats because the best manager we've ever had and creator of the best side in English football history has a patch when the side isn't playing inspired football.

True, but he will go up in a lot of doubters estimations if he fucks Mahrez off whether Messi comes or not

Shithouse of a player, unfortunately his stock is falling, lucky if we got 5 million for him, pretty please PSG come and take him home.

He's still peforming to a very good standard on the international stage and put up some decent numbers last season, so there will definitely be some teams interested. As shite as he's been for us of late, he's still phenomenally talent, just a terrible fit for us (which should have been clear before we bought him...).

The issue is his wages. Unless he's willing to take a drop, the pool of prospective teams that could pay him what he wants are slim.

As you said, PSG would be ideal, but they've got fuck all money at the moment - that may change in the summer though with Mbappe nearing the exit.

Leicester could really do with a player like him, so perhaps even a reunion with them could be on the cards.

He's paid to be the best manager in world football and win everything possible, so only judging him on the standards set by him, the side and the club. What's the point otherwise? Then just go off and tootle along with the rest of life, but the club have set the standard they want to aspire to and be judged by so for the purposes of here and being invested in a game and season you otherwise wouldn't give a shit about without setting those goals then he's rather below par for 18 months, and if he can't see that Mahrez needs dropping permanently then he deserves to be pulled up on it.

When the patch has lasted eighteen months then I think it's only right to stop calling it a patch and accept that this is the level we are at.
