Agree. A very talented and skilled footballer who simply isn't suited to us.He's a good player. Just not for us. I thought he'd be our Salah, he'd kick on in a great team. Just hasn't happened.

To be fair both of them forced themselves out
Think of it this way, Sane has an insane 17/18 season and instead of immediately tying him down to a new contract, we sign that sack of lump Mahrez. Imagine how Sane felt being thought of as being worse than that lump of meat and bones. To be fair both of them forced themselves out
In the 17/18 season Sterling and Sane (and Bernardo) were our only wingers. We were lucky that season not to have more injuries on the wingers. If was very obvious we were going to sign another winger in the following summer. Also, Mahrez played on the other side, and it`s not like Mahrez at that point was so good that he was bought to exclusively replace him, he was signed to bring in some competition. Sane left because he wanted to go back to Germany, and if that was because he was benched a lot in the 18/19 season, that was due to him being a lazy fucker, not Mahrez performancesThink of it this way, Sane has an insane 17/18 season and instead of immediately tying him down to a new contract, we sign that sack of lump Mahrez. When we did spend an 60 odd mil on Mahrez, no one expected him to be on the bench did we?
Thats not what I meant. With our scouting, coaches and Pep all looking for that extra winger, I am just baffled how we decided that Mahrez was the right choice. I was a lurker then and I remember posters even then were skeptical as to what he would bring, but they were cast off.In the 17/18 season Sterling and Sane (and Bernardo) were our only wingers. it is what is now, lets hope we get rid soon.Thats not what I meant. Again I don't care about him being benched in 18/19, it was clear when you sign a 60 mil player, he is the priority. Had we signed a player LIKE Sane, he would've become more accustomed to our play style after Sane left. Had Torres not been 80 mil then, we could've even signed him.
Just how liverpool play really, I know Mane and Salah are more wide forwards than wingers but the point still stands.
I am sure there are worse, you joined in 2007 Danny Mills was still at the club then.
I’d rather have Buster Phillips than Mahrezbut thats what we need -wide forwards....mahrez is fucking useless at either role.
Id take any of liverpools front 3 over everyone of our forwards accept Sergio tbh...esp Mane - id rather have Jota than mahrez
