He was never a bad player, he just looked like he didnt fit the team as well as others did. He now is first choice in the right wing position, and rightly so.

The biggest improvement in my view is that he is now more willing to pass the ball to team mates. Previously he would only cut inside for a shot, hold onto the ball if no shot was on and then play a nothing ball backwards. Now he still runs at people, mostly inside, but if there is a decent option, either a little through ball or a cross he is happy to play it.

Rumour has it that words were had. It clearly worked.

Cancelo is just more aggressive, physical, like a trickster at full back. When it works it is amazing to watch

Unfortunately there have been plenty of occasions he hasn't kept it simple,and that usually ends in us having a problem.In fairness,those episodes have decreased but he is still very capable of a brain fart.
