there is so much competition in this team that all it takes to lost your spot is two poor games like mahrez had in the community shield and then vs Spurs. Jesus played great vs norwich and today and just like that Mahrez is on the outside looking in. Same with Stones right now looking at how Laporte is playing.

Kinda unfair to Mahrez that he got dropped after everything he did since the start of the year. I'm glad Gabby Jesus is doing very well in that position otherwise it's incredibly bad optics to drop one of the top 2 performers of the previous season.
