Mahrez scored 24 last season and already has 5 this season.

The only one that isn't likely to get you a goal is Grealish.

Mahrez has one league goal this season, scored when we were already 2-0 up against the team at the bottom of the league. His assist today was his first in the league in 2022!

To be fair, he's only had 6 starts in the league this season but I take your point that he's hardly banging them in. He's still the more likely of the two to score though.

Actually thought he was decent in the 1st half. 2nd half back to his usual self.

If he consistently plays, and does so at his current levels, we won’t be winning anything. Not all his fault, he is just one of many, who are currently levels below the required standard.

One of the better players today, but that doesn’t say much. But he’s nearly as guilty as Grealish for this constant backwards passing from wide we’ve got into this terrible and boring habit of doing this season.

There's no doubting he's not in top form but he produced the one bit of class and penetration that the entire team managed all game which created the goal.

If we played down the right as much as we favour playing down the left and gave him as much of the ball as we do Grealish or whoever is on the left, we would get a lot more from him. Mahrez wasn't great today but he produced and he's right down near the bottom of the list for players who need calling out.

Grealish has no end product and is far worse than Mahrez. Having said that neither of them should be in the side, they are far too slow.

Wank yet again.
Had his feet up for 6 weeks and comes back as half arsed as ever
As decisions go, the decision to give him another 2 years was nearly as good as the Phillips buy

Anyone defending this clown needs to have a word with themselves.

Absolutely awful, constantly slowing play down, running into players and passing to the opposition. Even the pass for the assist was behind Haaland!

Even when he’s playing what’s considered well, he undoubtedly makes the team worse by slowing things down.

Saying all that, and the reason I give Grealish more of a pass, is the total lack of effort. At least Grealish tries, Mahrez makes no effort to retrieve the ball once he’s lost it.

When Sane was here, Pep was hammering him for much less than what Mahrez does.
