Am I the only person that doesn't find this reassuring ? Has to go off on his debut with a knee injury but it's okay because he's had it before ??

Agree - it was good but not of the level of Laurent Charvet…..Right up there with Mangala and Fitzroy Simpson in terms of a debut.

Great cameo of a debut, especially when he played on the right. Looks an exciting prospect and hopefully this knee injury that he has had before is nothing sinister. Only minor whinge is that on a couple of occasions he could have crossed with his right and chose not to and cut back onto his left, now that may have been because Erl was marked up, but he could have taken a chance on one of them.

Like him a lot, think the balance of him on right and Grealish on the left is probably the best bet though. What i did really like was his work rate and getting back into position, looks like the season at Girona has really helped us with that.

It was a very impressive debut, and it was a shame that he had to go off.
Considering it was only his second game in Blue, he looked very good, and will obviously improve the more he plays and gets to know his teammates.
We really have uncovered a gem of a player, and the prospect of watching him terrify full-backs for the next decade is exciting.

My thoughts too. You’d think our strict medical system would have noted this if it’s something that he suffers with regularlyStrange statement about the knee. Hopefully, it just is something that requires a dedicated programme to strengthen a very specific area.
