One of the most selfish players I've ever seen in my life and he's only 20 and been here six bloody months, someone should tell this guy that if you never ever score than stop bloody shooting and pass the fucking ball, so many chances to kill them off but he has to take shot after shot, and don't get me started on the "defending" for that equaliser, pathetic lack of effort, his best game for us was against West Ham last week when he was actually setting up his teammates, why did he decide to go back to his selfish ways I do not know.

there are a lot of positives with him of course, but his negatives were on full display tonight and was a big factor why we didn't win.

Yet despite some valid criticism here, pretty much our best player currently.

Didn't come off for him tonight, really should have scored but the threat is there. I've no issue with him choosing to shoot most of the time, we've been berating the entire side for not shooting. Only 1 effort he should have passed was when gvardiol was wide open in the middle. All the other chances he was entitled to shoot.

Had a good game, just needs to work on his finishing and has to work harder going the other way. There's at least a dozen bigger problems.

Shambolic urgency to close the cross at the end. These are the standards we have at the moment and it’s the reason we are where we are.

Thought he was good tonight, needs to learn when to pass at the right time but it's nice to see someone with the shackles off for once

Well he wasn't tonight, that was Kev, he still offers a lot and should keep his place on the left, but Pep should explain to him clearly, unless you start scoring regularly you can't take 6 or 7 shots per game, he has a great cross in him and eye for a pass so maximize your strenghts and minimize your weaknesses for the benefit of the team.

That 1 extra pass was missing.

Yes he should go for goal, but our wingers in this system needs to be "chance creating focused first, goal scoring second".

Same issue that plagues Doku, decision making.

He was great. But if you haven’t got the desire to stop a cross in the 90th min with your team winning then you haven’t done your job imo.

It was piss poor and I can’t abide a lack of effort
True but that's also on the manager for not making enough subs, he's got 5 subs but keeps making only 2 or 3, maybe a fresh Grealish could've blocked it but we would never know.

Can criticize him for the (non-)defending on the goal. But he was otherwise good. No issue with him taking on those shots - he maybe could have squared one for Gvardiol but it would have had to have been a perfectly weighted ball. On the others, the pass wasn’t really ever on anyway.

A top level prospect for sure. Mahrez with electric pace. If this guy keeps his head down, listens, and applies himself, he has the football world at his feet.

You're right, but he's also a 20 year old Brazilian winger, in his first season at the club.

This is what hapoens with young players, they make mistakes.
Not good enough 20 or not. He’s a professional footballer earning a shit load of money. Football is about basics first off all.

Agree - hardly rare to see a young winger being lax in their defensive work.
Probably also speaks to a lack of leadership on the pitch - the more experienced players should have been screaming at him to get closer and block the cross, but we just don’t seem to have that in us at the moment.

The defenders don’t even block crosses let alone the Brazilian winger. The work rate/ competitiveness is a malaise through the team and starts up top with Haaland.
