26 | Savinho - 2024/25

i think we miss bobb more than anyone thinks, he would've been our main rw. savio would provide a healthy competition and would come out as an impact sub when needed.
hopefully oscar will be fully fit soon.

The question over the summer was whether he'd be here this season or loaned back to Girona, which might well have happened if the rules hadn't been adapted when they qualified for CL.

As it is he seems to be our first choice right winger. That's not on him - it's on the recruitment and Bobb's injury. He'll come good, but is showing he's just a kid at the moment

Just not ready to start for us, should have been used sparingly until up to speed but injuries have forced Peps hand.
Hopefully being thrown in the deep end will help and not hinder his future

Frustrating with his shots that second half and looked like other City players were getting frustrated with him. He started to lose the battle with their full back towards the end of the first half and that gave them a lift. He still showed some real quality though

A really promising player with a sublime touch and pace/tricks, but he had a poor game last night with nothing coming off for him.

He will learn and improve undoubtedly. Looks like he’s desperate to do well but maybe trying too hard as his choice of when to cross or shoot was all over the place last night.

If he can get a goal or two he’ll hopefully relax and gain from the confidence it brings.

Just at the moment both he and Doku are ‘flashes’ players and I’m craving the ball retaining reliability of Jack.

The pressure for goals is making him a bit nervous and he ends up rushing and becoming selfish. It's better not to pressure him and let him play his football and things will come naturally.

Got off and we had zero threat left on the wings.
