Maybe he was fucked. He was absolutely fantastic tonight and ran his heart out.
Absolutely no complaints regarding his effort or his performance. He is an absolute gem.

Yep ran himself into the ground while others went through the motions.

The off the ball stuff he needs to work on though. It’s a bit half-hearted and hopefully Pep instills that in him. Think it will define where his career goes. Right to the top or just a very good player.

But an absolute great performance.

The least of our issues. Especially tonight. Never stopped working both coming back to help defence and also going forward. Our main threat all night.

He’s 100 times the player when he’s on the left, but he’s one of the biggest fannies we've ever had at the club. He also doesn’t work hard enough when we don’t have the ball. He runs back but doesn’t commit.

Sort those two things out and we’ll have a player.

Pep got Sergio Aguero to track back, it'll come with time.

I'm Brazilian and what I've read most in comments among City fans are the demands on Savinho for goals. He knows this and has given interviews to the Brazilian press about his anxiety to score. His selfishness in today's game has a lot to do with these demands. Savinho had a great second half, he was involved in both goals, but for the fans he leaves the field as the one to blame for the draw. I have no doubt about Savinho's talent. I have known Savinho as a promising talent since he was 14 years old. In my opinion, technically (dribbling and crossing skills) he is superior to Vini Jr, although he is still less complete. Vini is faster and a better scorer. And many Brazilians think like me.

Thought he was absolutely superb in terms of menace. Stepped up a level in this game and I for one was excited - not sure what game some others were watching.

Yes he could have worked harder in the 90 odd minute but was clearly tired given how much he put in. Phil let’s transition after transition happen game in game out if we are honest.

A big step up in what he is capable of tonight.

Unfortunately the fact he didn't pass to Haaland and then didn't get tight enough to stop the ball coming in means he shoulders a lot of the responsibility for the draw. But having said that, he was excellent otherwise and we probably wouldn't have been 2-0 up without him.

He's young, it's a good lesson for him regarding how competitive the league is and how you can't switch off for a moment. He's undoubtedly keen to score goals and prove himself, but he's got to remember it's about the team winning first and foremost. At 3-0 up then by all means be a bit selfish but the game was still in the balance and he needed to be a bit more composed.
