I still can't figure out - what's he missing..

I think both him and Mendy will be better after Fernandinho-Laporte duo starts games..

But then... you have Walker, who is an extra power in everything and best RB in the world..

This guy has toughest opponent than everyone.. Even Jesus has easier job than him..

As will all new players from another country he just needs to settle,the same got said about bernie and mahrez,they can't always be great from day one like sergio

He doesn’t feel like he will be here long term, however, he is a monster, potentially, if the penny finally drops in his career!

Be a shame if he isn't here long term. He's starting to settle into the team but Walker is a force of nature and isn't letting go of his place.

I think at some point Pep has to decide which is his number one RB cos you can't keep two top RBs happy no matter what.

I think this is a different sutuation to those two as i think cancelo is actually playing well in what little weve seen of him i think he may not want to settle and will do what ever it takes to secure his place at euros. Hopefully pep has assured him some game time.

Why not?

For years we had Clichy/Kolarov and Zaba/Richards or Zaba/Sanga, all playing similar numbers of games.

It’s like in midfield. Bernardo is one of the best players in the world yet doesn’t play every week, doesn’t play in the same position every week, yet never moans.

Clichy and Kolarov were never top class. Zaba/Richards again not genuinely top class pairing. Zaba/Sagna the same.

Cancelo/Walker is totally different caliber of pairing. Cancelo was first choice for Juventus! Midfield has more positions (2) compared to one at RB. Also Bernardo can play on the wing giving him more game time.

You can't keep two top 5 RBs happy. Its normal. Thats why he has to decide in my opinion
