Both ways he was magnificent. Takes it upon himself more than anybody else in the squad other than perhaps kdb and foden to make something happen when so many of our forward players play safe too often. That drive forward into the box only to see nobody else anywhere near him was brilliant in that he decided to take the game by the scruff of the neck, it perked up our game at a time where it was becoming a bit pedestrian.
Wasn't given a lot of protection from grealish but was spot on defensively and that was the area Chelsea identified to target with both werner and lukaku coming over to that inside channel for balls but he handled it brilliantly.
Have to get him to concentrate for 90 minutes regularly because he does have too many casual moments that can cost us dearly but he's just such a joyous street footballer to watch. It's so rare nowadays as it always gets coached out of players the second they enter professional academies but I love watching him play the game like he's down the pits having a mess around.
