For right now, its gonna be him and O Reilly as the fullbacks.

They played wide last game, but maybe if both inverted around Nico G, we could go back to playing with 2 10s again, and get like Marmoush, Foden, Bobb playing centrally with Doku and Savinho wide?

I like Nunes for his energy, and on a wider note, I think our pressing has been better with the younger players, so I hope we see the older players taking more of a backseat for the remaining games and coming on as a sub.

He's not an ideal option at RB but honestly, minus a few notable hiccups, he's been mostly fine?

Again, not an ideal starter by any means, but if I were to list my top 10 disappointments from this season I don't think he'd be in there. And certainly nowhere near the top.

He's a very different style of player, but put him on one of the title winning teams, and we'd be viewing him the same as Delph or Zinchenko I think.

Very fair comment, particularly your final paragraph.

Not much difference between him and Delph. Although I wasn't too impressed with Delph ath the time of him signing he did prove to be a valuable asset albeit in another position No reason Nunes could do the same along with a new first team signing. The point is we still need squad depth and we aren't signing any of them this summer.
Difference is we paid 8m for Delph and pittance for Zinchenko

I agree with what you say, but ffs Delphinio could at least tackle ;-)

how many times does he need to be by far the best player on the pitch for him to start getting even a little bit of credit from this fanbase?
Don’t worry he misplaced one pass today and will be called shitty again

Is there a single thing that Lewis is better than him at ? maybe Rico keeps the ball a bit better but that's about it, Nunes is better in every other department so should be the starting RB until we buy one.

Excellent again.

Pep needs to use him better. I don’t particularly like him moving inside but it’s even worse with Bernie out wide. If Bernie is there, Nunes has to overlap. Can’t have a full back inside and a winger who can’t beat a man. Our 1st goal was a prime example of how he should be used.

Yep, it causes me mental gymnastics that some can’t see this.

Can we praise Nunes without shitting on our homegrown 19 year old? Geez.

Much better out wide, he is legitimately a great crosser.

Pep inverting him and O Reilly was a travesty, we looked better when they can attack.
