Good to see another game with no major mistakes. Seems to be ironing those out of his game now, but 2 big games coming up this week so we'll learn more about how consistent he is with these ones (assuming khusanov doesnt start).

Looking promising though and another great game today against a very tough winger who was on it (some very good first touches from semenyo but Nunez dealt with any threat well).

There isn't a player on earth that is error free. Just enjoy him for what he is - currently one of the league's best full-backs and a valued member of the squad.

He registered the second highest sprint speed in the 2024/2025 season from all players at all clubs.
Van der Ven was number one.
He has excellent stamina too.

He has all the attributes to be one of the nest RBs in the world. Pace, stamina, strength, good in the air, decent passing and crossing.

I like him a lot.

After Brighton I lost my head with him. But he's been absolutely fantastic recently and that was his best game for us. Superb.

Not having a laugh, he is one of the best RBs in the league. His development is incredible, his devensive ability is class nowadays.
